Knit-Tech 2028 — Asia's Largest Knitting Technology Trade Fair, 19th Edition
About Knit-Tech

An exhibition designed around one industry's real decisions.

Knit-Tech 2028 is the 19th edition of Asia's largest knitting technology trade fair — bringing global machine builders and Tirupur's knitwear manufacturing capital onto a single floor.

Our Mission

Why Knit-Tech exists

Knit-Tech was created to solve a specific, practical problem: sourcing knitting and garment manufacturing technology in India meant scattered plant visits, fragmented distributor networks, and long lead times between deciding to invest and actually seeing a machine run.

Hi-Tech International Trade Fair India Pvt. Ltd. organizes Knit-Tech as a focused industrial platform — not a general trade show — built specifically around the knitting, garmenting, dyeing, printing and automation technology that Tirupur's manufacturers depend on.

Why the venue is the message.

Tirupur isn't a backdrop for Knit-Tech — it's the reason the exhibition carries weight with global buyers.

What We're Building Toward

Four objectives that shape every decision.

Concentrate the Sourcing Decision

Bring every relevant machinery segment into one venue so buyers can compare, negotiate and decide within days, not months.

Connect Global Supply with Local Demand

Give international machine builders direct access to Tirupur's manufacturing base, and give local factories access to global technology.

Raise the Bar on Standards

Showcase machinery and practices that help Indian manufacturers meet increasingly strict international compliance and sustainability requirements.

Build a Durable Industry Platform

Operate as a recurring, trusted fixture on the industry calendar — not a one-off event, but infrastructure for the sector.

Our Story

Founded by one man's conviction that Tirupur deserved its own stage.

Mr. Rayappan, Founder, Knit-Tech

In 1993, Mr. Rayappan founded Knit-Tech with a simple conviction — that Tirupur's knitwear manufacturers, already a driving force behind India's textile exports, deserved a dedicated technology exhibition built specifically around their industry.

Eighteen editions later, that same conviction still shapes every show floor: bring the industry's best machinery and its most serious buyers into one room, and let business happen.
